Homco Rabbits Bunnies Brown Set of 3 # 1442 W/ Box NM/EX

Set of 3 Brown Homco Rabbits. Two of the Rabbits are in Near Mint Condition and have the gold Homco sticker. The other Rabbit is in Excellent Condition with a hairline in the base due to shrinkage during the firing process. The bottom of the bunnies are marked with the number 1442.

These Brown Rabbits come with the original Styrofoam box. The box is in Good Condition with a bar code and has “3 Beige Bunnies” written in black ink and “BUN BUNNIES” written in blue ink on the outside of the box. Then “SIDEWAYS” and “On Back” written in black ink on the inside of the box.

Vintage Market, Post and Montgomery Streets, San Francisco, California, Unused Linen Postcard. This Post Card is in Near Mint Condition with slight discoloration. The top of the card states, "LOOKING OUT MARKET AND POST STS., FROM MONTGOMERY, SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF.”

It is numbered 6 on the top right of the postcard and 2A-H760 in the lower right hand corner of the card. The bottom left hand corner has copyright "STANLEY A. PILTZ”.

The back of the postcard states, "LOOKING OUT MARKET AND POST STS. Streets running at angles enter Market St. forming a gore. Many of the choice down-town locations occupy two streets.”

I believe that this postcard dates to 1932. It was published by Stanley A. Piltz Company, San Francisco, Calif. The Stamp Box states, "PLACE ONE CENT STAMP HERE.”

This postcard measures approximately 5 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches. Vintage Market, Post and Montgomery Streets, San Francisco, California, Linen Unused Postcard. 1000 Markets raised $500,000 in funding last year from a similarly prominent group, including Founder's Fund and True Ventures.

How to Date Antique, Collectible and Vintage Jewelry

Every wonder how some sellers gather the correct information for their jewelry descriptions. Well dating Antique, Vintage and Collectible Jewelry does take some detective work. You can sometimes date the piece of jewelry by the signature. The two websites that I use the most to identify and date a designer’s signature. There are some really great Jewelry Reference Books available for your use. I use Collecting Costume Jewelry 101, the basics of starting, building, and upgrading, Identification and Value Guide by Julia C. Carroll and Collectible Silver Jewelry Identification and Value Guide by Fred Rezazadeh. If you don’t want to purchase these Collectible Books you can always go to your public library and see if they are available. I hope this helps.

Vintage Aquatic Park Promenade and Fishing Pier, Also Alcatraz Island from Ft. Mason, San Francisco, California, Unused Linen Postcard. This Post Card is in Near Mint Condition with slight discoloration.

The top of the card states, "AQUATIC PARK PROMENADE AND FISHING PIER, ALSO ALCATRAZ ISLAND FROM FT. MASON, SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF.”

It is numbered 4 on the top right of the postcard and 7A-H1372 in the lower right hand side of the card.

The back of the postcard states, "the crescent shaped concrete pier shown here is 1500 ft. long, built at a cost of $400,000.00 In addition to being a delightful promenade and fishing pier, its primary purpose is to create a break water for San Francisco’s new AQUATIC PARK, situated in this wonderfully protected by area, adjacent to Fort Mason. In the center of the Bay to the left is Alcatraz Island Federal Prison.”

The figurine measures approximately 6 1/2 inches tall by 5 3/16 inches long by 3 7/16 inches wide. Homco 1985 Denim Days Bobbing for Apples 1527 NM With Box Tag

Home Interiors Denim Days Porcelain figurine titled, “Bobbing for Apples”. This figurine is in Near Mint Condition. The boy is missing the small tip of his left index finger. The finger tip is glazed, and happened at the factory before the glazing process, see picture. The figurine measures approximately 4 7/8 inches tall by 5 11/16 inches long by 3 5/16 inches wide.

The bottom is marked “‘DEMIN DAYS’ by ‘HOMCO’ copyright 1985 Home Interiors & Gifts, Inc. #1527 Crafted in China”. This figurine comes with the original tag and Styrofoam box which are in Excellent Condition and has been retaped over the original tape.

The box has “Bobbing for apples” written in blue ink on the side and a barcode label on the back that states, “1527”. The box still holds the figurine securely.

Antique Ripley & Gowan GF Bangle Bracelet Signed R&G Co

Antique Victorian Ripley & Gowan Gold Filled Bangle Bracelet in Excellent Condition with minor scratches. There is also a tiny dent on the top side of the bracelet. It is not nearly as bad as it shows in the picture. The dent is a small perfectly round shallow depression.

In the picture it is highlighted by a light colored reflection on each side. It is not even noticeable in the one picture and only noticeable in the other due to the reflections that highlight it. It is not really that noticeable, and I doubt that it will be noticed by others when you are wearing it.

This bracelet has a hand tooled floral design cut into the front. The Bracelet has a small push button clasp release, and is marked, “R.&G. Co.” This also is marked “UST 500” hand cut on the underside of the plunger, see picture.

Ripley and Gowan used the R.&G. Co. mark from 1880 -1930. The Bracelet is approximately 3/8 inches in height. The inside diameter from the clasp to hinge is approximately 2 3/4 inches. This Bracelet would make a wonderful addition to your Antique Victorian Jewelry Collection.

This book is in Very Good to Fine Condition with light wear and minor discoloration to the cover. The book has a copyright date of 1945 by American Book Company. The book is 296 pages long and 14 pages that contain the answers. This book is by Clifford B. Upton. The pages have slight yellowing to the edges of the pages.

Vintage Fisher Price Little People Collectibles

Many of us grew up with these Vintage Fisher Price Little People Collectible Children’s Toys. I can remember my brother and sister playing with these wonderful toys, and my mom yelling when she stepped on these little people in the middle of the night when they had forgotten to put them away.

There were so many different play sets to choose from. To name a few, there was the 952 Play Family House, 923 Play Family School, and 938 Play Family Sesame Street. These were great collectible toys and were favorites with the kids of that time.

It is getting harder and harder to find these Vintage Fisher Price Toys in Excellent Condition at an affordable price. I have collected many of these Vintage Fisher Price Little People and accessories over the years.

My favorite toys, are the all wood Little People with the metal rivets, these are rare and very difficult to find. I also like to collect the 915 Play Family Farm animals with the hex metal rivets.

But as it is with all the things you collect, it is time to part with some of these Fisher Price Collectible Toys.

The top of the card states, “EXPOSITION AUDITORIUM, CIVIC CENTER, SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF.” It is numbered 21 on the top right of the postcard and 2A-H775 in the lower right hand corner of the card.

The back of the postcard states, “CIVIC CENER BLDGS. The Exposition Auditorium is one of the buildings comprising the famous San Francisco Civic Center. It has a seating capacity of approximately 15,000 persons, and is greatly sought for National Conventions.” I believe that this postcard dates to 1932. It was published by Stanley A. A Sound Body New Health And Growth Series Book 1943

Vintage Book titled, “A Sound Body NEW HEALTH AND GROWTH SERIES”. This is a School Book and has the school I.D. stamp on the inside cover, see picture. The book has a copyright date of 1941, 1943, by The Macmillan Company. The book is 310 pages long. This book is in Very Good Condition with moderate wear and discoloration to the cover . This book is by W. W. Charters, Ph. D, Dean F Smiley, M.D., and Ruth M. Strang, Ph.D.M

Overall this book was well taken care of. The pages have slight yellowing with a few tiny brown spots here and there throughout the book. There is a ½ inch tear on the top of page 199 and a 1/8 inch tear on page 307. There is a Township and District written in ink in the space provided on the inside of the back cover.

Here is a preview of one of the books I will have scheduled to start tomorrow for Week 1 of the 6 Week Stimulus Extravaganza!!

Vintage Photoplay Book titled, “PETER PAN The Story of PETER and WENDY”. This book is in Very Good Condition with minor wear to the cover. The book has a copyright date of 1911 by Charles Scribner’s Sons. The book is 220 pages long. This book is by James M. Barrie and is illustrated with scenes from the Photoplay A Paramount Picture featuring Betty Bronson and Mary Brian. This was a Christmas Present and has, “Christmas 1926 Anne Mae from Marg”, written on the inside cover.

Overall this book was well taken care of. The pages have slight yellowing to the edges, a few small spots of discoloration here and there throughout the rest of book. There are no tears or writing expect as described above. There are some creases near the spine on pages 35, 37, 84, 85, 100, 101, 132, and 133. These creases appear to have occurred in the binding process. There are also some small creases approximately 1 to 1 ¼ inch long on the top corner of pages 57, 59, 77, 85, 91, 93, and 154.

Lovely Precious Moments Bell by Enesco entitled, “You’re as Pretty As a Christmas Tree”. This Bell is in Near Mint Condition. The inside of the bell is marked, “THE ENESCO PRECIOUS MOMENTS COLLECTION copyright 1994 Precious Moments, Inc. All rights reserved worldwide Licensee Enesco Corporation Made in Taiwan R.O.C.”

This Bell measures approximately 4 ½ inches tall and 3 ¼ inches in diameter. The box is in Very Good Condition with a couple small pieces of scotch tape and a small area, on the front of the box, where some of the litho has been torn off, see picture.

1871 1st Ed Common Sense In The Household Marion Harland

Vintage Antique Book titled, “Common Sense in the Household”. This book’s copyright page states, “Entered according to Act of Congress, in the year 1871, by CHARLES SCRIBNER & CO., In the Office of the Librarian of Congress at Washington.” The book was created by Trow’s Printing and Bookbinding Co., 205-213 East 12th St., New York. The book is 556 pages long and appears to be a first edition. This book is in Good Condition with no missing pages. The cover is partially loose from the spine, but the binding is intact. There are some creased corners to some pages inside the book and a missing bottom corner on the second to the last blank page. There are some small tears in this book. One on the top of page 334 approximately 1 ½ inches long, two on page 343, one ¼ of an inch long on the top, and one ¾ of an inch tear on bottom, and one 3/8 of an inch tear on the side of page 485. There are some small brown stains, the most noticeable is a stain that bleeds through several pages, from 140 to 172, and progressive gets smaller and disappears, see pictures. There is some writing in pencil on two pages, the first blank page has what appears to be library identification, and there is a recipe written on another blank page, see pictures. VINTAGE ART NOUVEAU SILVER JEWELRY CASKET BOX FLORAL DESIGN VERY GOOD

Vintage Art Nouveau Jewelry Casket with flowers and leaves. This Jewelry Casket is in Very Good Condition. This Casket is cast metal with a silver tone finish. There is some silver loss on the Casket, there is a nice patina with no corrosion, see pictures. It appears as if the middle section of the hinge, on the back side of the lid, has been resoldered. There is some slight discoloration to the silver tone around the repair but it is not that noticeable, see pictures. There is a hand stitched green cloth lining in the bottom of the casket. There is cotton batting underneath the cloth, I do not know if these are original to the box, but they do show some age. The previous owner has engraved their initials, “MVS”, into the bottom. The bottom is marked from the factory with “1070”. The Casket measures approximately 5 inches long and 5 1/4 inches wide at the base. It is approximately 4 7/8 inches tall. This is how I add an OLA Auction Picture to my Chat Forum Posts.

1) Open up 2 windows on the internet. Open window #1 to the OLA Auction you want to copy the picture from and window #2 to the OLA Chat Forum where you want to post a picture.

2) In Window 1, Right Click on the Picture you want to post.

3) This will give you a pop up window, Click on "Properties".

4) Another pop up window will appear. In this pop up window Copy the whole “Address URL” of the picture. (Highlight the Address URL and right click. This will give you another pop up window, Click “Copy”)

5) In Window #2, go to the Chat Forum where you want to Post the Picture.

6) Click on "Img" in the “post a reply” or “post a new topic” tool bar, this will insert [img]

7) Immediately after the [img] paste your picture address URL.

8 ) At the end of the picture address URL, Click on "Img" in the “post a reply” or “post a new topic” tool bar again, and this will insert [/img]

Your picture should look like this [img] http://yourpicture.jpg[/img] Just do not leave a space between the [img] and the http:// I had to leave a space so that you could see what the picture code looked like.

1948 Sonja Henie Souvenir Program from 1948 which was held in Chicago, IL. This Program is in good condition. The cover is coated with cellophane which has come loose in some places. The bottom left corners on the program are turned up and the center page has come loose but all pages are in this program. The contents include many good photos including ones from Universal-International during the filming of “The Countess of Monte Cristo” in which Sonja starred. In the inside of the front cover are the 7 ticket stubs from Parquet Circle, Chicago Stadium. 2 ticket stubs are dated, Friday, January 16, 1948; the other 5 tickets stubs are dated Sunday, January 8, 1950. My First helpful hint for the OLA Founding Members. My solution to the OLA House Categories Problem

This was my solution to the OLA House Categories Problem. Go to my OLA House and check out the Categories. http://www.onlineauction.com/store/stubsinc I wanted to have the First Level Categories in my store. Underneath these First Level Categories I only wanted the sub-categories listed where I actually had auctions running. If you would like to have your OLA House set up that same way….

1) Hover over the “OLA House” in the grey Auction Manager Tool Bar and Click on “Category” this will bring up the Categories Page in your OLA House.

2) Click on the “Remove Selected” Button and Click Yes (this will clear all of your Categories and you will start fresh)

3) Click on “Add New” (this will show you all the First Level Categories that are available. Look for the green asterisks “*”. This indicates which categories you have auctions listed in)

4) Check the box in front of all the First Level Categories that have the green asterisks and click “Add New”

5) Now you have all of your First Level Categories you selected. Click on the underlined category link of each First Level Category. This will open up a drop down list of all the sub-category levels.

6) Click the box in front of all the Sub-category Levels that DO NOT have a green asterisk and click on the “Remove All” clickable link. This will remove all the sub-categories that DO NOT have auctions listed in. At this point make sure that you DO NOT accidentally click on the “Remove Selected” Button because this will wipe out all the categories again. (I made this mistake the first time I tried this procedure!!)

7) There will be some Sub-Category Levels that will have a Third Sub-Category Level. (For Example: Collectables, Comic Books) These Third Sub-Categories will be in blue underlined text. Click on the underlined text to open up a drop down list of all the third-category levels. You will have to Remove all of these categories that do not have a green asterisk, see step 6 above.

This worked for me. Now, I don’t have any sub-categories in my OLA House that do not have auctions running. If you need to add sub-categories later when you are listing more auctions you will have to….

1) Remove the First Level Category by Checking the box in front of the First Level Category that you need to change and click on the “Remove All” clickable link.

2) Then click on the “Add New” clickable link. This brings all the First Level Categories back. Click the box in front of the First Level Category that you want to add and click “Add New”.

3) Now that you have your First Level Category added back, click on the underlined category link of this First Level Category. This will open up a drop down list of all the sub-category levels.
4) Click the box in front of all the Sub-category Levels that DO NOT have a green asterisk and click on the “Remove All” clickable link. This will remove all the sub-categories that do not have auctions listed in.

My OLA House Categories now look better and the customers have an easier time finding items in my store. I hope that this helps. I tried to explain the procedure to the best of my abilities. It was easier to actually do it than to write it. It only took me about 20 minutes to list the Categories in my OLA Store. Good Luck.

The back of the Charm is marked, “WELLS 14KT.” The Flag itself measures approximately 3/8 inches tall, not including the ring and 9/16 inches wide. The Charm weighs approximately 2 grams.
